Tilbury Camp

...to our little horse camp in the Pacific Northwest. We host historical reenactments and are the home base of the Warhorse Guild and the Compagnie de cheveaux leger de M. Tenere.

Just a few minutes from the Kingston Ferry dock, we have five acres of level ground bordering on a dense forest. There is plenty of space to pitch tents and park vehicles. Visiting horses will find room for their trailers as well as stalls and paddocks that can be subdivided.

Paddocks and stalls can be made available as needed. We ask that mares be kept in the pen at the North edge of the property as we now have a stallion in the barn.

From the Kingston/Edmonds Ferry: just drive off the boat and keep driving West about 2 miles. Turn Right on the Hansville Rd (please observe charming chainsaw sculptures to the SW), then go North  2 miles to Little Boston Rd (and the lovely Shell gas station). Go West down the hill not quite a mile to the consecutive "30 MPH" signs, where you will turn Left on Tilbury Ln NE.

From the Bainbridge Is. ferry: just drive off the boat and keep driving NW until you run out of island (you will cross the Agate Pass bridge). Make your first Right at Suquamish Way (careful observers will spot the Sasquatch lurking in the woods to the NE). Acouple of miles later you will pass through Suquamish (don't blink), where the road makes a 90 degree turn to the North and shoots you out of town. You are now on Miller Bay Rd. for the next 6 miles until you go through the intersection sporting the lovely chainsaw sculptures. Drive straight through...you are now on Hansville Rd. (finish directions above).

Coming from the South (Tacoma, etc.): cross over the NarrowsBridge (observe cool new bridge in progress) and just keep heading North on Hwy. 16 for about 20 miles until you go around the bay in Bremerton (observe shipyard) and bear Left/North onto Hwy. 3. After 18 miles, exit the Hwy at exit 305 to Poulsbo/Bainbridge. Go down the hill (East) and through the light, then turn Left at the next light which is Bond Rd NE. Go 6.5 miles on Bond (it turns into Hwy. 104, but we don't care) and turn left at the Hansville Rd (chainsaw sculptures will be on your right). Follow rest of directions above.

All:  No matter where you're coming from, when you get to the tacky chainsaw sculptures (Albertsons Grocery store across the way to the North, Rite Aid to the South) at the junction of Miller Bay Rd. & Bond Rd./Hwy.104, just head North up the Hansville Rd about 2 miles until you see the Shell Gas station and a big "S'Klallam" sign. Turn Left here onto Little Boston Rd, then go down the hill and take your first Left onto Tilbury Ln NE.

Once on Tilbury, we're the second property on the left (white buildings w/ red trim).
